In the past few weeks, we have been asked by many as to when are we returning to normal, and our answer has been: “We don’t know.” Currently our ministry of Saint Ferdinand Church has limited by the orders of the California governor, State & County Health Officials and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Within the guidelines, the ministry of Saint Ferdinand Church for those who have not been aware, has continued, since the reopening, but in a limited COVID-19 Style. Here is what is happening at Saint Ferdinand’s and we invite you to participate in all its activities and we hope you can all share this information with others: ·Daily Mass in English (Facebook/YouTube): Monday-Friday at 7:00 a.m. and Communion being distributed immediately after Mass in the Parish Garden for those who have participated in the Livestreaming of the Mass around our property. ·Daily Mass in Spanish (Facebook/YouTube): Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and Communion being distributed immediately after Mass in the Parish Garden for those who have participated in the Livestreaming of the Mass around our property. ·Sunday Mass: Saturday (English) at 5:00 p.m. Sunday: 7:00 a.m. (Spanish), 8:30 a.m. (English), 10:30 a.m. (Spanish) and 5:00 p.m. (English) ·Sunday Livestream (Facebook/YouTube): 8:30 a.m. (English) and 10:30 a.m. (Spanish) ·Holy Hour: on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. in the Parish Garden and Friday at 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall Parking Lot. For these Holy Hours please bring your own chair, face mask and hand sanitizer. PLEASE KEEP THE REQUIRED DISTANCING OF 6’ FEET. ·Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession): every Saturday from 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Parish Garden or making an appointment by calling the Parish Office during normal business hours. ·Baptisms, Wedding and Funerals are still being celebrated, please call Parish Office for more information. ·Wedding Preparations and Pre-Baptismal Classes are done via Zoom ·Currently registrations for our First Holy Communion and Confirmation are open, please visit our parish website or call the respective office for more information. ·In a few weeks we will begin virtual formation sessions for those interested in being Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. ·We will begin monthly virtual formation session for those who are already Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Ministers of Hospitality and Choir members. ·All other ministries are encouraged to meet in a weekly virtual manner, meeting days/times and way to participate in these meetings will be available soon in our parish bulletin and website As you can see our ministry continues by adhering to all the guidelines that has been provided. Some of our ministries are by Livestream, Zoom and being physically present. Please become part of our parish and participate in our activities to grow in the faith and relationship with our Lord.
