Goals of the Parish

The pastoral council of St. Ferdinand has put together this list of goals for our parish.

• Praying for and inviting those around us to share our journey of connecting with Jesus. (John 1:40-42)
• Inviting parish members to join the Stewardship Committee. (Exodus 1:40-42)
• Strengthening Hispanic Ministries in our own and surrounding parishes. (Acts 2:3-8)
• Maintaining our commitment to the Youth of our Parish by supporting Youth Ministry. (1 Samuel 3:1-10)
• Participating in activities outside our own Parish that promotes the social, cultural, political, and economic welfare of the San Fernando community. (Matthew 5:16)
• Increasing participation of Parish members who help the poor. (Luke 10:30-35)
• Providing Parish Social Activities that give us an opportunity to get to know each other and celebrate God’s gifts. (Matthew 18:19-20)
• Increasing the Parish participation of those who complete sacramental programs. (Luke 19:8-9)
